Middle East Yachting Conference 2017
Under the theme of Honouring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Shaping the Future the 11th Middle East Yachting Conference takes place on Monday, 27 February, at the Westin, Mina Seyahi, Dubai, from 9am – 5pm ahead of the 25th anniversary of the Dubai International Boat Show.
The annual Middle East Yachting Conference brings together global experts and industry authorities, as well as boating enthusiasts, to address the latest trends, technologies, plans and regulations affecting the marine leisure sector in Dubai and beyond. The Topics up for discussion this year include What Luxury means in the Middle East, How VAT in the UAE will affect business, the future for the Middle East Marinas, a Superyacht Legends panel debate, spending and needs of HNWIs (High Net Worth individuals) plus the maritime community's aspirations, and navigation at local and regional levels. There is also a separate panel debate moderated by Udo Kleinitz, Secretary General of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMA) will also discuss what contributions can Marine Industry Associations make to the industry with representatives from Finland the USA and Canada.
Conference sessions will include interactive presentations and panel debates to ensure lively debate.
